Pinyon Pine Resin - Pinus edulis - 6 Ounces of Fragrant Resin!

Used as an amazing incense and used in traditional salve making.

Resin is NOT collected on the tree. These beautiful trees need their resin to protect their wounds from disease and for repairing themselves. We collect resin from completely dead trees or from the ground at the base of the trees. It takes extra walking ... but this is an aspect of proper collecting and sustainability. 

Resin has been lightly washed in cold water to remove dirt and other organics. This does not effect the resin at all ... but makes them clean and pretty! I include a little extra weight with each order to compensate for any bark debris you might come across when breaking the pieces up for your uses.
